100 Hour Charity Marathon

Over 30 developers have joined forces with Streamlicious in order to raise money for Child’s Play Charity and awareness for indie game developers all over the world, by hosting a 100 hour live-streaming marathon. Featuring games such as Sanctum, Dwarfs!?, Natural Selection 2, Bunch of Heroes, Torchlight 2 and many others, Streamlicious sets a goal to raise at least $10,000 for Child’s Play. One member of the team has even gone as far as to get a tattoo of Borderlands 2 icon CL4P-TP (Better known as Claptrap) if that goal is reached!

Things you can expect during the stream are guest appearances and Q&A with a number of developers, multiplayer action, tons of giveaways and who knows what else! Streamlicious hopes to raise money for charity, remind people about the importance of fun in games and have a great time doing so, by including everyone who tunes in!

Interested? Of course you are! So if you’re looking for more information on the event such as the schedule, donation info, team member details, means of contact or news about future events, visit their site www.streamlicious.com, go to events, and check out the 100 Hour Charity Marathon tab! Oh, and be sure to mark the right date on your calendars! November 22-26, 2012!

If you are an up and coming (or even well established) indie game developer out there looking for some individuals passionate about gaming to test or promote your games, this team is highly motivated and always looking for more challenging, beautifully designed, and fun games out there to sink their teeth into!
